Winds of Change in Colorado’s Trees, Boulder MVUMC

Join noted Colorado explorer and student of nature India Wood for a hands-on exploration of how to identify Colorado’s conifers and a slide show and stories about her hike along the 51-mile Gore Range Trail. The Gore Range north of Dillon reveals how our forests are changing due to cycles of insects, maturity, and weather and climate change. The ecological situation brings up a bigger spiritual and cultural question: what is the realm of the dead with the living?

Event is open to the public. Park and enter on the west side of the big A frame church and go to Frasier Parlor South.
